When should I get an ultrasound?
Once you have confirmed a potential pregnancy with medical-grade pregnancy testing, receiving an ultrasound is essential to protecting your health and collecting key information.
Charis Center provides no-cost, limited ultrasounds following a positive pregnancy test at our center. Our Registered Nurse Sonographer performs this service, which verifies your pregnancy’s location, determines if it’s progressing, and provides an estimated gestational age (how far along you are).
How do I know if I am pregnant?
Certain symptoms can sometimes indicate other health conditions, and some women never experience symptoms.
The best way to confirm a potential pregnancy is through medical-grade pregnancy testing and ultrasound to learn more about your pregnancy and determine your next steps.
What Should I Bring To My Appointment?
Please bring a photo I.D., such as a driver’s license or school I.D. with a photo, to your appointment for identification purposes. No insurance is needed; all services are offered at no cost to you.
Can My Partner Come to the Appointment?
Yes! You are welcome to bring a support person to your appointment. We want you to feel comfortable.
I’m a New Dad. Can I Receive Help with Parenting?

Do You Provide Abortion Referrals?
Charis Center does not perform or refer for abortions. We will provide factual information on all pregnancy options, including the side effects and risks of abortion procedures.
