Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an appointment?

Walk-ins are welcome, but it is better to make an appointment to minimize your wait time in the office.

When can I get an appointment?

We will get you in as soon as possible. Usually, we can schedule an appointment within 2 to 4 days.

How much will my appointment cost?

All of our services are offered at no cost to you. We won’t charge you, bill you, or bill your insurance. Regardless of your income level, there is no cost for our services, and you won’t need to produce any proof of address or proof of income.

How long does an appointment usually last?

Plan to spend 45 minutes for your initial appointment. You should plan on an additional 45 minutes for an ultrasound appointment, whether it occurs on your first visit or in a subsequent one.

We want to give every woman the time she needs so we can’t always foresee how long an appointment will take.  As a result, appointment lengths can vary. Usually, there is only a short wait in the waiting room, so we ask you to arrive on time to respect the time of our staff and other scheduled clients.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes! We want your experience at Charis Center to be as comfortable as possible. You are welcome to bring your spouse, significant other, friend, or a family member to your appointment with you.

Is my appointment confidential?

All of our services are 100% confidential. We won’t tell anyone that you came in for an appointment or what you told us. We will not attempt to contact you in any way without your permission.
